We offer the expanded NRA approved pistol courses that meet the requirements of HB12, Ohio's Concealed Carry Law.

Think about this: During the 12 hours it takes to complete the Ohio CHL course there will be 1,903 Violent Crimes, & 13,995 Property Crimes (according to the FBI 2005 crime stats), During the same 12 hours 3323 crimes will be prevented by armed law abiding citizens (G. Kleck study 1993)

These statistics, while slightly dated, are completely applicable to our daily lives. On Target Concealed Carry is more than just instruction on firearms. Our mantra is “Practical, Not Tactical.” We teach the practical skills that are needed everyday. Learning to safely and responsibly use a pistol is just the beginning. While we love our Queen City, like anywhere in the country Cincinnati Ohio is not without its problems. Equipping yourself with the mental tools to not only survive, but thrive in the real world, is where the rubber meets the road. On Target Concealed Carry will help you to become mentally aware and alert, and build confidence to defend yourself and your family. We consider the use of a concealed carry firearm the same as having Homeowner's Insurance; it is only needed as last resort protection against a catastrophic situation.

Not only do we train individuals in firearms ownership at On Target Concealed Carry, we work to change the culture in Cincinnati Ohio. Oleg Volk once said that our goal in society should be to make guns unremarkable. They should be a normal everyday part of life, just like morning coffee and Cincinnati, Ohio rush hour traffic. We welcome everyone, and our goal is to see that everyone who walks through these doors come to find that even though there is a grave responsibility with firearms ownership, they are also fun.

Four Cardinal Gun Rules

Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded.
Always point your firearm in a safe direction.
Always keep your finger outside of the trigger guard until you are on target and ready to shoot.
Always be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
